Strengthening the Microfinance Sector

Enabling Commercial Borrowing

ADGF guarantees enable NBFIs to access commercial funding. This mobilizes new investment capital into underserved markets and reduces sector vulnerability.

Reducing Cost of Funds

ADGF guarantees decreased the average effective interest rate for NBFI commercial loans with approximately 2%. This allows MFIs to offer more competitive rates to borrowers.

Diversifying Financial Products

Risk mitigation through guarantees allows NBFIs to develop new financial products, expanding access in rural and underserved communities.
